2 Chainz reminds us that Dope Don’t Sell Itself

2 Chainz Dope Don’t Sell Itselt

***I should say before I publish this edit that I have never sold dope. I have never even seen dope. I should also say that I consider dope to be heroin, a drug I have no interest in. I do however smoke cannabis as often as I can.

I have been sitting on this review for about a week, which is not something I try to do. But for those who do not know me, I am a full-time student, and I am in the middle of finals hell. But that is ok. This album is dope, I am glad I randomly found it whilst riding my bike last week.

Black American Spring YouTube Channel

One. Bet It Back 10/10

It is just an intro, but it is funny as hell, so it gets a 10.

Two. Pop Music featuring Moneybagg Yo & Beatking 7/10

I like the track, but it is nothing special.

Three. Kingpen Ghostwriter featuring Lil Baby 8/10

I want to like this song, but it is kind of meh.

Four. Outstanding featuring Roddy Ricch 8/10

This is a good lil motivation track. It will not win any awards, but I like it.

Five. Neighbors Know My Name. 10/10

This song is dope. I like 2 Chains because he just has fun with his music. The beat is about as basic as it could be, but it is a fun track.

Six. Million Dollars Worth of Game featuring 42 Dugg 9/10

I feel like a hater not giving this 10/10, but I have a few issues with Kodak Black. The song is dope though.

Seven. Free B.G. 10/10

This track is nice. I like the tribute to Hot Boys circa xxx. We all miss B.G. I feel.

Eight. 10 Bracelets featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again 8/10

This song is ok. It fits his style but is not anything special.

Nine. Lost Kings featuring Lil Durk & Sleepy Rose 10/10

I love any song that is written by my Kings, for my Kings. And for those who do not know what that means, I mean Black King.

Ten. Caymans featuring Swae Lee 7/10

I do not like the beat. It messes with my head. The lyrics are decent though.

Eleven. VLad TV featuring Stove God Cooks, Symba & Major Myjah 10/10

For one, I have a mad respect for DJ Vlad. I have been watching homie for years and I respect his hustle. Also, this track is beautiful. The production quality is perfect, the lyrics are perfect, the message is perfect. This may be my favorite 2 Chains song of all time.

Twelve. If You Want Me To featuring Jacquees 7/10

You must have at least one song on every album for the ladies! Ladies Love trap music. The track is not my style, but it is ok.

Bonus for composition. 5/5

I appreciate an album with skits. Also, when the album ends it just restarts without missing a beat. Which is dope because it was done on purpose, so if you get stuck with the album on repeat you will not even notice.
